Day 15 - Descent to Plaza de Mulas

It's late and I'm in a big communal tent so this is just a text-only post so no one can say I missed a day. I will post details of the long difficult descent tomorrow.

Kirk out..

Kurt descended about 6000 vertical feet today and he's still basically still at the altitude at the top of Mt. Rainier. Just to help out I'm (Carl) adding an unrelated picture, Kurt and our friend Mari nearing the summit of Mt Adams at sunrise a few years back.

I hope you are feeling better, and are in a warmer, less windy environment. You are the master blogger keeping us posted in sickness and in health. You have inspired us all, not necessarily to climb mountains, oh no! But to start our own blogs! It's been an amazing journey here on my couch, I hope when you return home you take a day or two on your couch too- you deserve it.

Dear Kurt

You are truly amazing and I want to thank you for all of the information you have been sending. My son Mike is in your group and I would not have survived these last 2 weeks without your blog. I hope you are feeling better and I also think you are a hero. The team was so lucky to have you on board. Be safe and hopefully you will be able to enjoy the next few days.. Ann Marie Fanning
